OMG!!! I just checked my tires, and one was made in 1999!! Thanks for posting this movie clip. It was very eye opening. I will be more careful the next time I buy tires!

Wow, that's scary! I'm so glad you checked them. Hopefully more people will check there tires, too. It certainly helps to know this when you're buying tires.

Just so everyone doesn't freak out like I did... I asked a mechanic about my tire. (the one made in '99) He said that since it had no sign of dry rot, that it should be fine. That would be the only thing about having a tire too old, and looks like I am fine. WHEW!!!
