About Children’s Flight of Hope
Children’s Flight of Hope was founded in 1991 by two pilots who saw the need for air transport so that children could get to medical appointments in neighboring states. Since its inception, Children’s Flight of Hope has flown hundreds of families up and down the East Coast of the United States on its private airplane. All missions are completed using volunteer pilots. Missions are accepted based on financial, medical or logistical need. As a founding member of the Air Care Alliance, a national organization dedicated to humanitarian air transport, CFOH also acts as a referral service for families that fall outside the mission service area.
