With Thanksgiving right around the corner, the Polar Ice House of Cary is hosting an open skate food drive on Sunday, November 13 from 1-4 p.m. to help those in need celebrate the holiday. With the donation of three non-perishable food items, guests are treated to half off skate admission.
Polar Ice House of Cary will be donating all non-perishable food to the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, a local organization in Raleigh who pioneers innovative, transformative solutions designed to end hunger in our community.
In addition to receiving half off admission, guests who donate non-perishable gifts will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win prizes such as skating pass for 6, a week of half day trackout camp, half off of a birthday party package and 4 free skate school session classes.
“We are really looking forward to hosting a food drive with Interfood Faith Shuttle,” said Randy Lee, general manager of Polar Ice House. “ With the weather cooling down, our open skate food drive provides families with a budget friendly indoor activity while helping out the less fortunate.”
Polar Ice House in Cary is located at 1410 Buck Jones Rd. For more information on Polar Ice House and the food drive please visit www.polaricehouse.com
