Kids Eat Free at T.G.I.Friday's Sundays-Thursdays

I know this deal has been around for awhile now, but I just had to post. I took my family of six to lunch at Friday's today. The deal is you get one free kid's meal for each adult entree purchased. My oldest is 10 years old and has a big appetite so to fully take advantage of the deal, we let him get an adult meal so we get 3 kids meals free (an adult entree is about the price of two kid's meals so it evened out). My wife and I both got the Endless Lunch which is unlimited soup, salad, breadsticks, PLUS a drink for only $6.99 at lunch ($8.99 at dinner). The drink costs $2.50 by itself so really the meals were only $4.50 which is cheaper than a kid's meal. In fact, the kids can even get the ribs for free (which cost $6.29 on the kid's menu)!!!! In addition, they didn't charge my 10 year old for a drink since he was under 12.

So, grand total for a family of six for lunch was about $24.50 not including tax. I tipped 20% and included the price of the kid's meals in my calculation making the meal a total of $33. We can't go to Chick-fil-A for that cheap!!!

BTW, the broccoli cheese soup is amazing.

Now that is a real bargain! I was one of six siblings and if my parents had seen that, we would have eaten there. It was rare for our large family to go out to eat but at the price, why not??? To cook for that size of family would have cost a lot more in time and money. Hats off to such a smart shopper!!!!
