Holly Springs High School student John Demcovici was in a car accident on March 17 and broke a vertebra in his neck. John is currently at a facility in Atlanta that specializes in spinal cord injuries. The Demcovici family is an active part of the Holly Springs community. To assist the family in paying for John's spinal cord injury rehabilitation, organizers are sponsoring the Jog4John 5K Walk/Run. Here are the details:

May 16, 3-5 p.m.
3 p.m. 5K Walk/Run
Entry fee: $25 for ages 16+, $10 for ages 8-15

4:30 p.m. Kids Fun Run
FREE (for ages 1-7)
