Chill Out at Polar Ice House Open House

Looking for a fun and free activity to do with your family this weekend? Join Polar Ice House’s Cary location at 1410 Buck Jones Road for its open house on Saturday, June 16 from 1-4 pm for free ice skating, free lessons, discounts on programs and on-ice activities.

In addition to free ice skating and ice skate rentals, Polar Ice House will have plenty of activities to keep the family busy such as face painting, raffles with prizes, mascot appearances, Sports Plus pro shop discounts and a shoot-to-win contest with a $500 cash grand prize. Plus, representatives from Pawfect Match pet adoptions, AMF Bowling and Monkey Joe’s will also be on site to join the fun.

After working up an appetite on the ice, guests will be able to enjoy free food while supplies last from local businesses such as; Polar Ice House’s concession, Wild Wing Café, Red Robin, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Ice Cream Boss.  Additional vendors such as Coca-Cola, Sysco and Nestle will also be donating items for the Open House. While eating, guests can pick up raffle tickets for door prizes as well as socialize with Polar Ice House’s own mascot, Icey.

Polar Ice House will also have instructors on-site to help any novice skaters and provide mini lessons. There will also be a DJ from All Around Raleigh DJ on-site to enhance the ice-skating experience.
