Striving For More Day at Carino's Italian Restaurants

How often are you able to eat a fine Italian meal and help a child at the same time? On Tuesday, October 27, Carino’s will donate 10 percent of total sales (dine in or to-go) to Striving for More. Durham County Schools Partners With Computers 4 Kids to Donate Computers to Students

From Durham Public Schools' Public Affairs Office: Responding to the call to provide Durham Public Schools students with computers in their homes, Durham County Government has formed a partnership to meet this need. Computers 4 Kids involves a partnership among Durham County Government, DPS, the United Way of the Greater Triangle, and the Volunteer Center of Durham that enables County surplus desktop computers to be refurbished for use by DPS students.
