Boy Scouts Troop 316 Sponsors Car Wash to Raise Funds for Philmont High Adventure Trip

The Boy Scouts of Troop 316 in Apex will sponsor a carwash fundraiser Sat., April 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Crossroads McDonald's in Cary (1831 Walnut Street). The scouts are raising funds for a high adventure camping trip this summer at Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM.

Apex Youth Group to Feed Over 20,000 from Proceeds of a 'Change Drive'

St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church’s middle school youth group, The EDGE, will package over 20,000 meals in concert with the Raleigh organization, Stop Hunger Now, on Monday, May 2, 2011 from 7-8:30 pm in the Apex church's gym.

Moe’s Southwest Grill Raises Money for Triangle-area Tornado Relief

Moe’s Southwest Grill’s Triangle Town Center and Crabtree Valley Mall locations are donating a percentage of sales to support relief efforts for the Triangle-area tornado devastation. Tomorrow, April 20, 10% of sales will go to the Triangle American Red Cross to help those affected by the disaster.
