As Beth's mom, I was simply THRILLED when she had the opportunity to attend a Montessori school when she was about 3-4. She responded positively and started to demonstrate unique and independent ways of tackling problems. For instance, she would put her coat on the floor and put it on bending down and doing it that way. I was amused and her answer was something like she learned it in"school" or Montessori school. She has been doing things her own way since then. I truly think she learned how to think and approach learning in a way which suited her best. Anyway, I loved it. Liz Neely
