One fave in Raleigh is the Museum of Natural Science, it is free, and love the presentations when you get to pet an animal.
During the winter, a nice day at Pullen Pool is fun.

Kelli, we have stayed at Orange Lake in Orlando, it is off site. We liked it a lot, they have a movie theatre, water slide, pools, golf. and more.
Also, I just noticed the Disney Store in Crabtree is now selling passes. They seemed like a good deal.
