My memory of ANNIE is going to see it on BROADWAY on my 6th birthday with my twin sister, grandparents, and aunt & uncle - in the front row! It was amazing being right behind the orchestra leader. He asked my sister and I at one point if we wanted to be in the show - since we are twins and we were so cute and the ...right age. We told him we would have to ask our mom - she was meeting us for dinner after the show. How foolish! My grandparents tried to talk us into it, but we wouldn't go for it :( It was 1979, but I still remember vividly the lights, music, and the whole experiende. We even got the album of the soundtrack. I took my daughter when it was in Raleigh the last time and she enjoyed it just as much!

Another memory is from when I was in 7th grade and our school put on the play Annie. I really knew every line from the play from sitting at practices all year, I had small talking parts in "Hooverville scene" , the "NYC scene", and in the mansion as well. It was great fun and something I won't forget.
