About the instructor:

Jenny Parton, CYT - Jenny's passion for yoga began before she even took a class. Jenny strongly believes that her 10 year background in dance accelerated her love for yoga. Several years ago she came to the YMCA looking for a place to work on her physical health, and to have some "alone time". After having 3 children, her body and mind really needed some attention. She began taking a yoga class and felt her body transform back into what it was 15 years ago. Jenny immediately knew this was something she wanted to share with others. Jenny soon began student teaching at the "Y" and received her group fitness certification through AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America). Since then has been instructing yoga to members of all ages and backgrounds. Jenny exudes her love for yoga in her natural teaching ability and enjoys joining her students in their journey with yoga. Jenny continues her studies with Dharma Richards and will be an RYT graduate in the Spring of 2011 through Yoga Garden of Apex School of Yoga.
