DESCRIPTION:Partners for the Advancement of Gifted Education (PAGE) of
  Wake County will sponsor its biannual Super Saturday event Nov. 7 at 
 N.C. State University’s Talley Student Center. The event consists of
  courses covering a variety of academic subjects, which are offered in
  the morning from 10 a.m. to noon and in the afternoon from 1:30 to 3:
 30 p.m. Many students participate in both sessions, while others atten
 d whichever session fits into their schedule.\n\nSome students are int
 erested in learning about how to become a dinosaur hunter, engineer or
  animal tracker, while others choose to participate in an egg drop or 
 beading class. During the classes, parents can attend sessions pertain
 ing to gifted education. These parent sessions are free and open to th
 e public.\n\n“Super Saturday is an extraordinary event because it no
 t only provides our children with access to stimulating classes and id
 eas geared towards academically gifted learners, but it also creates a
  forum in which parents and teachers of those children can network wit
 h each other to discuss solutions to real-life issues,\" says Tom John
