Mastering Middle School:  Brain-Based Study Skills Boot Camp!

Does your soon to be sixth grader or current middle-schooler need a boost in planning, organization, test taking, and study skills? Middle school is a time of increased academic expectations, and  whole new social world. Often the little fifth grader parents once new has turned into a middle school monster over night! Maybe you have one in your house? The hw drama, the disorganization?

With shifting social alliances, and dramatic emotional and physical changes, its no wonder the academics throw them for a loop! Students face expanding horizons and shrinking free time, a bigger building and unfamiliar teachers. How do we help young people navigate this transition? Our mini institute will help your soon to be or current middle-school student navigate his or her way by preparing students for the academic and social challenges of middle school though explicit instruction in crucial life and study skills not often covered in their academic courses.

The class is hands-on, utilizes brain based teaching methods, is fun, and extremely practical. They will feel armed and empowered to walk those halls, head high- and with a plan in mind.
