Joel Lane House Colonial Tea

Joel Lane Museum House’s Colonial Tea will take place Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 3 to 5 pm. The rain date will be Sunday, September 27. Girls, their mothers, grandmothers, fathers, and grandfathers are invited to learn about the custom of taking tea in the colonial and early American eras. You will drink your tea from china tea sets, eat delicious and beautiful cakes, and participate in crafts and games after tea.

Admission to the tea is $25 for adults and $15 for children aged 12 and under, payable in advance. Participants may mail a check to PO Box 10884, Raleigh NC 27605, or call 919-833-3431 with MasterCard, or Visa credit cards to reserve places. Minimum age is 5 years. Proceeds benefit the programs of the organization.
