Children’s Independence Day Parade in Durham

Arrive at 10:00 AM to decorate your bicycle, wagon or scooter. The parade begins at 10:45 AM . Refreshments at 11:00 AM.

Bring your camera and don’t be late!

Patriotic Music, Helium Balloons, Fire Engine from Station No. 1, Police Escort for the Parade. Random drawing for gift certificates from The Play House Toy Store on Ninth Street. The Scrap Exchange will provide decorations for bicycles, wagons and scooters.


-Public Parking-
Parking lots and on-street parking on Foster, Morris, Hunt, Rigsbee, and Corporation Streets.


-Refreshments-
FREE water and Frozen Juice Pops.


Don't forget to visit the Durham Farmer’s Market after the parade.
