The Apex Police Department is proud to sponsor a new summer program geared toward local area youth who are between the ages of 11-14. The camp is completely free of charge. The goals of this program will be to develop life skills, self confidence and team-work, as well as cultivating the relationship between the community youth and the Apex Police Department. Our hope is this program builds partnerships for safer communities and safer schools.
The program runs for one week on the following selected dates: July 13-17 or July 20-24. Activities to include dealing with Teen Obstacles (Drugs, Gangs, Peer Pressure), Physical Fitness and Wellness Challenges, Field Trips to the Wake County Public Safety Center, Wake County Court House and the Bond Park Ropes Course in Cary, NC.
The camp will begin at 9am and conclude at 12pm, allowing for flexibility on the days of the jail/court tours and visit to Bond Park in Cary, NC.
